Photoshoot in Athens, Greece

I had a wonderful opportunity to shoot with the beautiful Eleftheria in Athens, Greece. I must say, October – November is such a nice time to visit Greece! The summer crowds are gone and the weather is mild. No need to suffer through the large crowds or uncomfortable hot weather – which made this photoshoot a breeze! Our shoot was on my first full day in Athens (I had arrived the night before) and I got somewhat lost taking the Metro. It’s all Greek to me! Anyway, after some confusion on which fountain we were meeting at, we finally found each other and made some magic together.

I used the Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L for this shoot. Eleftheria and I got to know each other more as we made quite the walk to our shoot location. She’s in too many agencies for me to name and she was on a model competition that aired on Greek television. She ended up winning the whole thing! Haha I had no idea I was working with such a big time model. Take a look at what we created together:

Though we created a lot of beautiful images together, this shot is my absolutely favorite 🙂

 

And her agency thought so too. They chose my photo for her comp card! Ah, a pleasant surprise!! Now she is an international model, jetsetting to places like Shanghai, Istanbul, Milan, and more for major brands. It was an honor to work with her and I hope to be back in Greece again soon. I hope you enjoyed looking at these as much as I enjoyed creating them 🙂
